RE: flooded

WOW!
You certainly could send some of that rainfall our way!  Frightening when I 
turn on the water hose and only DUST comes out at first.  I don't 'think' 
we'll run out of well water, but I've started rationing it somewhat anyhow. 
When I scrub out the goat drinking tubs, I divert the water and rinse water 
off to the island garden beds. Thinking of using a dust mulch to trap 
moisture under the existing mulch as well.
Now if I could just put my husband's shower on a timer, or divert that off 
to the garden, too.
Butterflies are gobbling catsup!  Not enough flowers in flower right now, I 
guess and they are knocked off the hummingbird feeders by the kamakazi 
hummers.

I went away this weekend to work in my garden in western Mass, but the
rains were so heavy I couldn't do any gardening at all.  Enjoyed a Tyrone
Power movie though.>>
