RE: Correct Spacing for Zucchini Squash


Based on my experience, you would be very sorry if you planted them one   
per sqft!  Those mothers get huge; one per 3 sqft is barely enough room.   
  Its hard to believe when you first put them in, but its true.

Mel's book advises one plant for each 3 foot by 4 foot area.  I have
some information from the WEB that advises one Zucchini for each sqft.
 From your experience what is the correct spacing?
