The person who sent in the original mistaken unsubscribe request
could not be reached at the e-mail address in the message. Bill sent
his message to the only possible address where it could be read by
the intended recipient. Frequently, these misaddressed unsub
requests continue, so taking action to head them off is generally a
good idea

We all have things we are not interested in. I had no interest in
your post, for instance. But I suspect I will manage. You can too,
once you learn that the Delete key is your friend.
