Good Morning all, just saw this post.  We have 3 chows and a golden
retriever.  I have found that it helps to let the dog hair blow around the
garden, in that it reminds the wild animals that dogs live here and are
guarding the garden <g>.  I have had no deer or rabbit damage since
starting this practice 6 years ago.  I just brush the dogs outside and
scatter the hair around the raised bed area.  We see lots of deer tracks
in our yard and open garden area but not where the hair has been allowed
to hang out.  Deany, zone 4/WI
