     Thanks for the answer on blackeye peas. One other question, my
blackeye pea bushes have produced, but now the lower part of the main
stem his turning brown and woody and it 's lower leaves have turned a
splotchy yellow brown color and are dropping. The upper foliage looks
fine. I have about 10 to 15 pods per bush, 2-3 pods per stem. Good or bad
production? Also will the plants keep reproducing more pods or does it
make the one crop and then die?
