Hi George,

I'm practically your neighbor in Cary, NC. I use an organic granular fertilizer 
called Plant Tone, made by Espoma. You can get a 25 lb bag for $8.99 around 
here. I use 1/4 cup per square once per month. Larger plants like zucchini get 
1/2 cup per plant. I mix it in lightly with the soil around the plant. It's not 
quite 10-10-10 but close to it.
