Square Foot Gardening List - http://www.flinet.com/~gallus/sqft.html
Go to the garden supply store or Home Depot or its clone and buy a stirrup
hoe. They cost @ $15 for an inexpensive one and are 3-5 inches wide.
Wonderful tool; cuts weeds both on the push & pull. Run it about 1/2 inch
to 1 inch below the surface when the weeds are about1/2-1 inch high. They
will be back again in a few weeks. Do it again. By then your plants will
be fairly good sized and will shade out further weed growth. Pick by hand
the few you can not get with the hoe.
