Hi Sonia,
I grew bottle gourds in two squares at the back of my bed that is against the 
back fence and they grew up the fence all over the grape vines(on the back 
fence) along the neighbors fence and into their back yard and produced about 
15 gourds.
You may want to prune them back if you have less space.

Having gone from a rain hat to a pith helmet(not really its woven with a 
lovely white rose--but with the sudden heat a pith helmet may be better)and 
my soakers have sprung gushers or the ends have torn off.  Anyone tried that 
super leak stuff that you see on TV?
