My parents live out in the country in VA and are having major problems with
groundhogs eating all their beans and other veggies.  Dad shoots them, but
most of the time he misses, and, of course, he can't be out there all the
time guarding his garden. They have also tried fox urine without any luck.
(They also have cows that break through the fence and eat and trample
everything, but that is an entirely different problem.)

Is there anyone out there who has to deal with groundhogs, too?
