RE: Tomato grapes

In answer to the grape tomato question Rich, I took some seeds from one last
summer and got a few germinated.  I then put them in the garden late in the
fall, hoping we'd have a mild enough winter to maybe get some tomatoes to
ripen.  Well, we had a killing frost when there were 2 little itty bitty
grape tomatoes on the plant, so I can't answer if they are determinate or
indeterminate, but I would imagine they are indeterminate.  I put my tomato
seedlings out in the garden weekend before last, and there are 2 more of
these grape tomato plants in with them.  I guess by the end of this growing
season I would be able to answer you more accurately, but I say go for it -
take some of your seeds & give them a try.  Even if they don't reproduce
true to the parent, you'll still get a tomato of some kind, wontcha? or will
it be a grape? <grin>

Hi all,

My wife bought a pint sized container of these little tomatoes the other
day. I have never heard of them before, does anyone have any experience with
growing these? Are they determinate or indeterminate? She would like me to
try and grow some for her this year and suggested I ask you folks about
getting some seeds for these. Can I just cut one open and let the seeds
inside dry out or is there a different way of going about it? Any help is
greatly appreciated.
