What will we do to keep these barrels from becoming a skeeter nursery. I
think an old sheet tied on with a bungie cord should work. Put a small rock
in the center to hold some water if it comes down to fast. In drought
areas, what about filling the barrels before the dry spell then what else
comes down will keep them full. Put any spouts at least a few inches up
from bottom to help keep them clear of silt.
