>Well, the electrical conduit that I already have is in 10 foot lengths and I
had originally planned to cut off three feet from each pipe. I figured to hang
my netting from it before pounding it into the ground.
I guess I'll leave it full-height unless somebody convinces me otherwise.
>Really like the idea of hangin a bird feeder from the top.
Do you suppose the squirrels can climb the netting (7 inch holes)?
Did you plan on a 7ft piece, attaching 1ft to a raised bed side, for 6ft
overall? (I had thought of staking it in the ground... Maybe not so good.)
They can climb this for a treat, tho' with some hassle.
I had in mind a "T" across two uprights, hanging out, say, 2ft???
A cheap pulley, allows a feeder to be lowered for cleaning, refilling.
Even IF they walk this horizontal, like a powerline, a circle 1ft dia would be
tuff for them to pass. Center hole just big enuf to rotate. maybe a 5 gal can
lid?
If the feeder is at 10ft, on a vertical, and the top two feet is bare? Hard
to climb then. (Raised squirrels, as pets. :>)
