I've got some serious sprouting going on! Lettuce, radishes, parsnips,
spinach, and chard are all taking a chance with the touchy Utah weather.
They took a while to show themselves, but here we are at last. No signs of
peas and carrots yet, but I'm still hopeful. The onion sets also look great.
Have you heard of www.weatherplanner.com? They claim to predict local
weather up to one year ahead of time. Early in January I printed out
predictions for Febuary through September and so far they have been quite
accurate, at least in the trends. Wish me luck!
