Re: Asparagus

Hi Wolf and Anita,

I live just east of the freeway from Bow Hill (near Alger) and I have had
asparagus for about 6 or 7 years.  It is still surviving but has never
flourished.  I have these little critters called garden symphylans that
curl up in little coils in the soil.  After some research, I find that they
love asparagus.  The only organic remedy I have found is that frequent
rototilling will discourage them.  Well, I can't do that and have an
asparagus bed.  So, if you have good luck, let me know.  I'd like to hear
how it goes.
