I do just the same like you, in the same small pots. Nevertheless it
is better to sow all basil seeds seperately in small pots and never
transplant them. The reason I don't do this is because it takes too
much place, I have about 25 basil varieties to sow, with about 5
specimen per variety, that gives about 125 small pots. All those pots
must go in a small heated window greenhouse, where there is only place
for about 60. A little bit difficult, hey, so I use the transplant
method. Maybe we could give it a try, this year???
