I definitely have the answer for Bill from SE Pennsylvania: 'Mama Mia.' But I can't FIND it. I got the seeds from the Amer. Hort. Soc's free seed exchange in 1994 and they haven't had it since '95. I have not yet secured either the Totally Tomatoes or Tomato Supply Co. catalogs. If any Square Footers have these, please take a quick peek and let me know if 'Mama' is in there. She's terrific--hugely prolific, not susceptible to any of the various soilborne wilts that plague us here in the Nation's Capital, the fruit taste excellent and make a very strong sauce, and they have the longest shelf life at room temp of any tomato I've ever grown. 'Mama': come to Janet, come to Janet. ------------------------------------------------------------------ Janet Wintermute jwintermute@ids2.idsonline.com
