So far with 4 years experience I can say that the SQFT method is by far
a method of conservation, with respect to your resources (time, effort,
acreage...). I have not noticed any greater harvest than what I
expected. Any harvest shortages I have attributed to EXTREMELY HOT
August, my own inexperience watering or fertilizing to much, and a
case of reducing the spacing allotment even further.
But most importantly I have learned how to have a massive garden (240
SQFT) with LITTLE WORK. Now if Mel could write a book on
conservation of efforts for storing the harvest.
