I've used 20' lengths of PVC to make large "hoophouses" over indeterminate tomatoes. Inexpensive, easy to build and works great for keeping the foilage dry and getting us through our often wet summers without blight ruining the crop. Lots of space and headroom too, we also great great results with basil, eggplants and peppers grown in them. I wrote a piece with step-by-step instructions for making a PVC hoophouse. If anyone is interested I can e-mail it to them. Or if no one objects I can post it to the list - it's about 12k in size. ____________________ | | | Bob Carter | Kootenay Bay | bcarter@awinc.com | BC, Canada |____________________| I'm on the corner of Walk and Don't Walk
