All the talk about bonemeal's nutrient value has been interesting. I'd too read that bonemeal's phosphorus and calcium was released relatively fast for an organic fertilizer. With very fine meals I've heard that the bulk of the nutrients are rendered available over 6-8 months by the acids produced in biologically active soils. ____________________ | | | Bob Carter | Kootenay Bay, BC, Canada | bcarter@awinc.com | Zone 6b |____________________| The sooner you fall behind, the more time you will have to catch up.
