I have Mel's book and I don't see anything about potatoes. Maybe I missed
it!! I love potatoes and really want to grow a lot of them. Does anyone
have
any ideas?
Thanks -

1 per square foot. There was an atricle in the Feb/1996 Organic Gardening by
Mel and he describes planting potatoes. You may want to go to the Library and
read it. Basicly you dig down about a foot and plant the potato. As it begins
to grow you add dirt. Continue this process until the square is even with the
others. This method gives you more potatoes than just planting a few inches
below the surface. Good luck
