Funny thing, I was just reading my latest Organinc Gardening Magazine and in
the tips section someone wrote in that they used old sheer curtains for this
purpose. I
think they could be a great alternative if you need a really cheap covering.
Rain and sun could get through. I even think they would hold up much better
than Reemay as you could store them when you don't need them for a while.
How cheap? Depends on how many freinds you can talk into digging through
their attics and basements. Or you could get them for next to nothing at
garage sales or Goodwill type stores.
