Brandywine tends to have extended stigmas in hot weather. The stigma
splits through the anther cone and extends. So cross-pollination is
very possible with it. The others are smooth shouldered varieties with
regular flowers and tend to self-pollinate. However, sweat bees can
cross-pollinate anything. The standard isolation distance should be
three feet apart in rows that are four feet apart. I don't know how
that figures in SQ Feeting, but what I do is to wrap my tomato cages
in Reemay, tying off the top with a pigtail. That stops any cross-
pollination.
