They're also known as trough gardens. Fine Gradening has a Book of Garden
Projects (not sure of titl) that tells how to make -- use a plastic bag as a
liner over your form --- garden shows often have competitions with these
gardens -- there's also a special planting mix (which I can't remember --
maybe it's in the Fine Gardening book -- I think that Better Homes and
Gardens had an article in spring of '96 in their garden projects issue. Ann
