Copper dust fungicide is recommended for cumcumbers and squashes. Sulphur
dust is not. Ask your local nursery or seed supply store or look at the
directions printed on the different fungicides. Be sure to wear a mask and
goggles and wash exposed skin whenever using chemicals.
The best medicine, however, is prevention. Don't let the plants get too wet
(but who can stop the rain) and don't touch the plants when they are wet as
this spreads disease.
