Andreas asked, >Does somebody know of a better name for SQFT gardening? and then listed some great possible names for the process that don't depend on the "English" system of measurement. Listers, is there any difference between the "French intensive" method and SQFT? I've heard this phrase for years and even heard the statement that all of Mel's theories are borrowed from Europe but don't know how to evaluate the latter charge. Of course, adopting a term like "French intensive" could be viewed in a bad light for all the usual xenophobic reasons, esp. if the French really didn't invent it either! --Janet ------------------------------------------------------------------ Janet Wintermute jwintermute@ids2.idsonline.com
