Aaaah, spring, a "no socks day" in March, in Chicago!!!
Anywho, I hate to go back to those faux stone containers, but here's a
slightly different recipe...
3 parts horticultural perlite
3 parts peat moss
2 parts Portland cement
enough water to make the mixture the consistency of moist cottage
cheese
Let cure for 24 hours - five days in a dry spot.
If you want to age it, coat the outside surface with plain yogurt and
a little soil. Let it stay outside for a while. Molds and lichens will
grow on the yogurt-treated surface and age the pot.
