Re: Harvest
Now Bill,
We of the South just have to consider that a challenge! Trying to find some
vegetable which can grow in HOT/HUMID weather that lasts almost all year long.
Here in Houston, TX we have our problems to. I haven't gotten totally into
squarefoot gardening at that level but I have some raised beds where I am
hoping to experiment as soon as I have completely read up on the methodology.
So I can understand the wonderful harvest and while those people up North ;-)
are planning their gardens, we here in the South are scratching our heads and
harvesting the Kale, and (for me) Chervil, Cilantro, Parsley and other herbs
which I planted as "winter annuals" because they can't take the heat/humidity
which will be here soon!
