Re: greening potatoes

I live in zone 5b where the last annual date is about April 20 and I'm
planting potatoes this week.  They can take freezing weather and prefer cold
ground in which to grow.  Even if the foliage gets nipped and blackened by
frost, don't worry, more will grow back.
