What more is there?
I've never made adobe, but my recollection is that that's all there is
to it. The web pages I can dig up seem to agree. (Of course, as you
point out, not just *any* clayey soil will do.)
There are several-hundred-year-old adobe houses in Sky City, I believe.
Still, adobe doesn't stand up well to running water.

Bravo. I agree completely; EPID, for "every person is different", is a
frequent refrain on another mailing list I'm on.
