Square Foot Gardening List - http://www.flinet.com/~gallus/sqft.html
Hi Vicki,
With 6.25 acres you may find Mel Mix runs you into a lot of bread, eh? :-)
Good plans for larger acreages include Eliot Coleman's in the New Organic
Grower, which may be more resource efficient than all that wood and
purchased-in soil mix.
To make raised beds with a rototiller, see the excellent photos and text in
Dick Raymond's Joy of Gardening (Storey Publications). There are also
tractor attachments that will make raised beds; prolly best to hire someone
to do that if you want to see how well it does.
My thoughts,
Frank Teuton
