Dear Chris,

I read your letter and I must admit I was a bit stumped as to why you have
had such frustration with us. I have thought about it a bit and reviewed our
correspondence. On any number of topics we have explored in detail the many
views and experiences of the seasoned gardeners here. Then it occurred to me
that we may not be including enough ground details for the newer members who
are trying to follow our conversations.

In order to discuss this varied topic and learn to sqft garden we all needed
to read Mel's excellent book first. Please release us from your expectation
that we relate the entire sqft gardening manual each time a subject comes
up. I recommend you check your local library first or purchase a copy of his
book.

I invite you to do just a little reading and then see whether these gentle
and friendly folk here will welcome your questions. I know I will.

Hopefully, I am the "person" who was removed from the sq ft gardening list
after sending three messages to the address at the bottom. I did not
subscribe
in error...I honestly thought I would receive some information relative to
square foot gardening, since I have never attempted this type of gardening.

After having my mailbox constantly inundated with messages which did NOT
relate to sq ft gardening, I requested...not once, not twice, but three
times
to be removed. After which this "person" became a little perturbed at not
being removed, and continuing to have a full mailbox of non-sq ft
gardening...Not as stupid as you think...Hopefully, I won't be receiveing
another 400 messages in one month....

I certainly will not recommend this site to anyone who wants to learn about
sq
ft gardening.

My guess is that they accidently subscribed, and then didn't bother reading
the message below to be able to figure out how to UNsubscribe... though I
don't know how you could subscribe by accident!  Pretty sad!
