Re: Eggplant ants

I've got ants crawling up everything in my garden, but they don't seem to be 
eating any plants. My melons are at the 6 ft high mark on the verticle 
supports and when I go to turn the vine around the string, there will be an 
ant at the top checking things out.But the aphids have arrived. this is my 
first eggplant and my buds have just started to bloom. I'll be interested if 
you get any helpful replies (I've never even had a response from this list 
yet).
