Hello from Central Florida!

I'm hearing from you guys up in the North that you are
just starting your gardens.  Sl, I throught I would
update some of you on the status on mine.

The harvesting has started.  The green beans and green
pea plants are producing like crazy.  My squash and
zucs are acting like weeds here in Central Florida,
growing atleast a foot a week.  One has almost wrapped
itself around 2 sides of the 4' x 4' block!!!  (I'm
not using the trellis like in the book...just letting
them lay on the ground).  The watermelon took a shile
but has suddenly started to take off, it's vines also
starting to creep around the square.  My cherry tomato
plants are producing all these little green tomatoes
and I'm waiting impatiently for them to ripen. 
Already pulled the 2 squares of radishes that I
planted in March and am starting some cow peas to put
in their place.  

My only problem is BUGS!  I found 2 BIG FAT monarch
caterpillars hanging out on 2 of my tomato plants and
something is starting to bore into my tomatos on
another plant.  Drive me CRAZY!  And another
caterpillar killed off a watermelon seedling and 2 of
my sunflowers (we  call that area of the yard the
"cursed corner...everytime we plant anything there it
get's brought down).

I hope to have a picture or 2 posted sometime.  I wish
you all well on your gardens.
