I agree. These lists are a fantastic source of information that can save you years of trial and error, although trial and error is lots of fun and also a great way to learn. The thing I really dig (pun intended) about these lists is the fact that there are many people on them that have made gardening and agriculture their career and that they are willing to share their knowledge with those of us that just love to putter around in our gardens and grow things.
The other thing I have found is that whenever I post a question or a statement on these lists, I will often get personal messages from people that thank me for asking questions they were afraid to ask themselves.
So I would encourage you to keep on firing away with the questions.
