Hi Lisa Marie....

   I'm going to try this method using the fresh tomato leaves.  Sometimes 
drying can change a leaf's chemical make-up and I'm thinking that, perhaps, 
using fresh leaves might be the best way to do it.  You could, however, try 
it both ways.  

   Here in Ohio it's spring and there will be plenty of tomato leaves soon 
enough.  Most garden centers around here already have huge tomato plants for 
sale.  I'll wait until my tomato plants are larger and out in the garden, but 
it is another option...to buy a larger plant just for it's leaves.
