Hello from upstate NY, zone 5, where the arrival of spring is late and chilly. I planted Bok Choi (sp?) seedlings about a month ago - never grew them before. The seedlings have grown an inch or so, but they're producing flowers already - surely that can't be right? Any comments? Why are they bolting already? I snipped the flowers off. Will that cause them to grow to a better harvesting size? Thanks for any responses.
