I agree.... I planted bells (variety) in one bed, and anaheims in the other
bed right next to the bells... everybody had great shape and size according
to the plants, but the anaheims never did get even mildly hot...

The next year I separated the hots and the sweets by about 20 feet or more
and got great hot peppers and very sweet bells.... I vote for separation
too!
