Hi Rodney, I once read somewhere that corn and tomatoes both suffer from the same worm pest, but I don't think it was tomato hornworms. It might be the corn earworm that attacks tomatoes too, not sure... We had corn separated from tomatoes last year by two rows of jalapeno peppers, and didn't seem to have too many problems. One concern might be that both plants have high nutrient needs, so extra feeding might be necessary. I don't think I would personally try to grow them in a pattern together like every other one.
