Keywords here are "well composted".

I still laugh at my neighbor's story of her daughter bringing her dad
a load of "in process" horse manure, in plastic bags, in the back of
her Explorer type truck.  Trip of about 50 miles.  Bags steaming, car
heating up . . . she was afraid it would burst into flames en route.
And the aroma was, well, less than pleasant.  At least she figured
out why he didn't want to haul the stuff in his own truck!
