Pepper Leaves

OK, this is my first year growing peppers and I have a "neophyte" question.
The new growth on my pepper plants are growing in as wrinkled, misshapen
leaves. Other than that they seem healthy, no diseases or insects. We have
had a lot of rain lately...could that be causing it? We also had a few (upper
40s) cool nights. I can't find any info in any of my garden books as to why
this is occuring. If anyone can help, please advise.

Thanks!
