What is the Latin name of the ground cherry? Is it a true cherry? Is the name "ground cherry" colloquial? Is it known by any other common name? I can't find any reference to it in my seed catalogs or in any of my gardening encyclopedias. Clark, Harper, Texas zone 8 *** Nursery catalogs, while a great pleasure to read, have no relevance to gardening, unless used as mulch. The magnificent plants described in and pictured on their pages have never actually appeared on this planet. - Tom Christopher & Marty Asher *************************************************************************** To unsubscribe, send to: listserv@umslvma.umsl.edu the body message: unsubscribe sqft See http://www.umsl.edu/~silvest/garden/sqft.html for archive, FAQ and more.
