The big (4 x 5 feet) USDA zone map, which I have a copy of, shows county
names. Now some big counties are bisected by several different zones (we
just heard from a Pennsylvanian whose county has four USDA zones in it). If
you're in a smallish county or one that happens to have only 1 zone, send me
the county name and I'll post back to you what zone you're in.

The "A" and "B" stuff refers, respectively, to the colder and warmer halves
of a given zone. Differences at that level are minimal, but if you're
stretching things to include a plant in your garden, knowing for instance
that you're in the A half of your zone might help you save money and
fegeddaboudit.
