Re: Sugar Bush watermelon and Bush canteloupe?

I too am trying the sugar baby watermelons this year. I didn't think
that the vines were short, though. I am planning on trellising them
in addition to my canteloupe. I trellis all of my vining plants.
This gives you much more growing area without using up ground space.
For the heavier fruits (ie. watermelon and canteloupe) place the
fruits in knee-high nylons and tye them to the trellis for added
support for the fruits. They will expand as the fruits grow.
Good luck and happy gardening! :-)
