Hi, Wondering what Trudy meant by " none are sufficient for sqft
gardening"?? I'm new to sqft gardening but aren't bugs, bugs?? Just
kidding!! I found two more web pages that are related to this topic,
Vegetable-Insect Pest Management
http://www.ces.ncsu.edu/depts/ent/notes/Vegetables/veg43.html
This reminds us "There are about 150 species of insects that are
considered damaging to crops. However, there are more than 91,000
species that are either beneficial to a garden and/or non-damaging to
crops. The gardener should be cautious about assuming no insect is a
good insect. " Also "ECONOMIC THRESHOLDS" and".CONTROL MEASURES"
The second one is:
Internet IPM Resources on Vegetables
http://www.ippc.orst.edu/cicp/Vegetable/veg.htm
This has list "Inernet Resources on Vegetable Pest Management" with lots
of pictures of bugs, diseases, and weeds. Hope some can use this
information and Happy Gardening!!
