Square Foot Gardening List - http://www.flinet.com/~gallus/sqft.html
Mary,
To keep track of crop rotation in my square foot garden, I use graph paper.
Use whatever scale best suits your needs--since my beds are relatively small
(4' X 14'), I figure 3 "squares" to a foot. Note what was planted where &
when within your scaled grid & when it was harvested. Then note what was
planted next & when it was harvested, etc. I number the beds 1, 2, 3, etc &
the "grid" square feet a, b, c, etc. One page per bed takes me through the
gardening season. During the winter, I use these records to plan the next
garden. This generally consists of moving last's Bed No.1 to Bed No. 2 & Bed
No. 2 to Bed 3, etc. I don't achieve perfect crop rotation with this method,
because there are always adjustments but it does provide a guide to avoid
planting the same or similar crop in the same place for consecutive seasons.
