Re: Pesky Squirrels

Square Foot Gardening List - http://www.flinet.com/~gallus/sqft.html

The squirrels in my yard bury their acorns and pecans, as evidenced by
the little trees that sprout the following year. They particular like
soft, new beds and potted plants. I have to pull out red oak trees from
all of my outdoor pots every spring. I don't think they eat slugs--sure
wish they did!

So, my question to you more experienced gardeners--what might this
little guy be up to? Is it possible he's actually doing some good by
digging up slugs or something? If not, what would you suggest to
discourage him?
