Square Foot Gardening List - http://www.flinet.com/~gallus/sqft.html

Welcome Steve!

I don't know whether anyone answered your post about the
tomato leaves turning yellow at the base. I am no expert *by
any means* but I am growing tomatoes. I just prune the
yellow leaves. Is your plant otherwise healthy? If not, you
might want to add some lime and a little fertilizer each
month (according to Mel's book). I think the dying leaves at
the bottom is a natural occurance. As far as watering goes,
tomatoes like a good deep watering once a week (twice a week
in hot weather).

With regards to the turnip greens and radish leaves having
lots of small holes, have you looked under the leaves for
insects? My garden is virtually free of insects with the
exception of some aphids on my snow peas and spinach. I've
noticed in the last few days more and more lady bugs hanging
out in the garden...I think they found the aphids! I
interplant marigolds and nasturtiums. I always interplant,
so I can't say what my garden would look like otherwise.

For what it's worth, my 2 cents...good luck
