Square Foot Gardening List - http://www.flinet.com/~gallus/sqft.html
Sandra writes about fresh and
composted horse manure. I have a similar question. A friend who is a
vet emphasizing homeopathic treatment has offered me manure from her
stables. She is a sqfooter and is enthusiastic about the fact that her
horses get blue green algae in their diet. Will this fact be an advantage
to the garden as she believes? Also, if I get the manure directly from her
stable, should I allow it to compost or age and for how long? When I do
use it, should I apply it directly to the garden or add it to my compost
pile?
