HI there,
Well I don't know about squash, but in the past I have scrounged around here
and there and manage to get a hold of some bamboo usually I can get it for
free most people are happy to chop it back and get rid of it <G>. I gather
together about 8-10 pieces and form it into a shape like reminiscent of an
indian teepee and then I tie them all together after the shape is formed
with some twine. After that I plant my cucumbers, beans, or gourds ( I like
to grow Luffa ) and I plant the seeds at each of the places where they can
find the bamboo to grow up along it easily. Most of the time it works out
great cause when the season is over you can store it somewhere out of the
way easily enough and there is no major tearing down and putting up. Just my
.02 cents worth....
