Re: Epsom Salt on peppers?
Square Foot Gardening List - http://www.flinet.com/~gallus/sqft.html
Rich,
I posted a request for help for my peppers. They were losing
their leaves and Elizabeth of NC suggested it might be a
magnesium deficiency and said the 1 tablespoon of epsom
salts in one gallon of water should be applied a couple of
times to add magnesium for healthy leaves.
I have tried that (3x) and I think it has helped somewhat.
My peppers are still puny and small (most of them), but not
dropping their leaves as quickly. The Calif Wonders are
doing okay. It's the jalapeno's and other assorted hot
peppers that aren't faring too well.
We're experiencing some cool weather right now (the snow
peas are in and we are so excited) and I'm hoping that the
approaching hotter weather will accelerate the peppers
growth.
Hope this helps...and *thanks* so very much to all of you
nice folks out there for the help!
